COVID - 19 UPDATE

Physical Therapy is an Essential Service

As a medical treatment, physical therapy is deemed an essential service and we are open throughout this crisis to provide all of your physical therapy needs.

For those unable to visit our clinic, we are offering Telehealth appointments. Telehealth is an effective way to ensure that you remain engaged and that your physical therapy goals are met.

Is it Safe to Go to Physical Therapy Right Now?

Yes! We are following all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance to protect our physical therapists, other staff, and patients at our clinics. In particular, we are focused on maintaining a clean and safe environment as we all work together against the spread of COVID-19.

Placing increased emphasis on Social Distancing and Mitigation

Following the latest Centers for Disease Control guidelines, including frequent and thorough hand washing throughout the day.
Observing CDC guidance by requiring clinicians to wear masks and asking all patients to wear masks or some other kind of face covering.
Sterilizing all clinic surfaces with medical-grade disinfectants after each use and on a regularly monitored schedule.
Pre-screening all patients and workers prior to entry, including a temperature check, overall health status check, and screening questions (see attached)
Adhering to recommended social-distance practices when not delivering hands-on care.
Limiting the number of appointments to maintain social distancing and allow adequate time between appointments for cleaning, accounting for the amount of time needed for disinfectants to be effective per product label.
Consideration will be given for most vulnerable as first patient of morning and afternoon to reduce contact with and/or overlap with multiple patients.
Limit waiting area occupancy by asking patient to wait in cars or outside, reduced seating in lobby using approved social distancing. (2 seats)
Physical barriers have been added at sign-in and billing checkout points. (Sneeze guards)

Ultimately, we want to get you back to being you. Whatever your treatment goals may be, we believe the single-biggest factor in a successful recovery from injury is completing the recommended course of care.

Because this is a fluid and ever-changing disease, additional measures may be necessary to protect your health in our clinic. If so, we will update our practices and policies immediately.
